A healing ritual involves using a clear glass of water, black stone and pipe. Using the pipe, the healer blows into the glass of water, moving it across the affected area of the patient’s body. The water in the glass slowly becomes murky, filled with brown and cottony organic matter believed to be the bad elements removed from the patient’s body. The process is repeated a few times until the water remains clear, an indication that the impurities causing the disease has been healed.

Located in Siquijor town, this is the first church you will see when arriving from Siquijor Pier. This is the first Parish Church on the island and was built in 1783.
